Editorial policies

1. Open access

All articles published by Medical Data Mining (ISSN 2624-1587)  are selected by an in-house editor and fully peer-reviewed by external reviewers.Medical Data Mining applies the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial (CC BY-NC 4.0) license, which permits others to distribute, remix, adapt, build upon this work non-commercially, and license their derivative works on different terms, provided the original work is properly cited and the use is non-commercial. See: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/

2. Copyright and License

Authors retain the copyright of their manuscripts, and all Open Access articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided that the original work is properly cited.

  The use of general descriptive names, trade names, trademarks, and so forth in this publication, even if not specifically identified, does not imply that these names are not protected by the relevant laws and regulations. The submitting author is responsible for securing any permissions needed for the reuse of copyrighted materials included in the manuscript.

3. Ownership and management

The editing and publishing of Medical Data Mining are managed by TMR Publishing Group.


4. Digital Preservation Entities

The Publisher is entitled to entrust digital preservation entities such as The National Library of New Zealand to archive the content of the Journal published during the term of the Publishing Agreement.


5. Advertising Policies

Medical Data Mining reject any advertising.


6. Special statement

All articles published in journals owned by the TMR Publishing Group represent the views and opinions of their authors, and not the views, opinions or policies of the BPG, except where otherwise explicitly indicated.


7.Article-processing charges
In 2019, articles processing charges and submission charges are free. All accepted papers will be published free-of-charge.

8.Publication Processing Speed 
Averagetime from submission to first decision is just 20 days.

9.Competing interests policy

In the interests of transparency and to help readers form their own judgements of potential bias, Medical Data Mining require authors to declare any competing financial and/or non-financial interests in relation to the work described. The corresponding author is responsible for submitting a competing interests' statement on behalf of all authors of the paper.
